Extrajudicial Executions
Since 2020, the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center has focused on researching and documenting the extrajudicial killings committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. These crimes are mapped across time and geography through an interactive platform, with the latest data recording 862 killings across 25 countries.
Extrajudicial Executions delves into the motivations behind this initiative through interviews with Roya and Ladan Boroumand, who have themselves been victims of the Islamic Republic’s violence. They share their vision for exposing the widespread and systematic human rights violations using this interactive map. Their goal is to compile comprehensive data that vividly portrays Iran’s transnational violence, providing credible documentation that could serve as a foundation for international collective action to hold the regime accountable.
